Electronics References

The Art of Electronics by Paul Horowitz and Winfield Hill. If you buy one electronics book, this is it. The authors cover the basics up through advanced circuits, and focus more on practical tips rather than on dense mathematics. Very easy to read - one of my personal favorites. A companion book contains exercises and answers: The Art of Electronics (Student Manual with Exercises) by Thomas C. Hayes and Paul Horowitz.

Electronics Tutorial Reference for entry level electronics with nice diagrams, from Alex Pounds of Fairfield University.

Hack A Day hack a day serves up a fresh hack each day, every day from around the web and a special how-to hack each week.

Jonathan's Electronic Circuits A collection of useful electronic circuits.

CPU Package Types. Nice reference page containing pictures of CPU packages, pin counts, and what processors use(d) them.
